Ghost Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon (Wii) and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Predator (PSP) announced

The ever-expanding Tom Clancy franchise is getting a little heftier today with the announcement of Ghost Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon for the Wii and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Predator for the PSP.

Predator features multiplayer co-op with up to three players ad hoc, an array of prototype and air support weapons, and experience for customizing the Ghosts. In the jungles of Sri Lanka, the Ghosts have 72 hours to prepare for a U.S. invasion as trouble brews with Pakistan. But the Ghosts uncover evidence that things aren’t quite what they seem and must act before falsified intelligence leads to all-out war.

The Wii release, Ghost Recon, follows Ghosts Hibbard and Booth as they make their way to their target in Moscow after being separated from the rest of their team. The game will feature 12 missions, taking place from Norway to Moscow, two-player third-person co-op with Hot Join, and an Arcade Mode to compare scores on a global leaderboard. This is the first in the series I’ve seen to be stated as “designed to specifically accommodate a wide range of players, from casual players to hardcore gamers.”

We won’t have too long to wait to see how things turn out as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon (Wii) and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Predator (PSP) are both scheduled in November.
