Logitech reveals new G-Series headset, keyboard, and mouse

Logitech has revealed three new G-Series gaming peripherals, the Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930, the Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700 and the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G510.

The $159.99 Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 features 7.1 Dolby surround sound, with “gaming-grade wireless technology designed specifically for two-way, uncompressed audio streaming,” and three programmable G-keys to control music, voice morphing, and chat clients. The body has a memory-foam-lined headband, plush ear pads to ease pressure points and reduce outside noise, and a noise-canceling microphone. In addition to an internal 10-hour battery, the unit comes with a charging base that can recharge while the headset is in use.

At $99.99, the Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700 is aimed at those looking for a robust control set over multiple genres. The unit is optimized for MMOs but has the “precision needed for FPS,”¬†with 13 programmable controls so users can one-click single actions or complex macros. The full-speed wireless connection (1000 reports per second) offers lag-free wireless connectivity while a quick-connect charging cable provides both in-use power and data-over-cable capabilities for LAN connectivity.

Rounding out the new trio of peripherals is the $119.99 Logitech Gaming Keyboard G510, which features 18 programmable G-keys with three mode states, allowing for access to both pre-defined macros and those created during use. The GamePanel LCD gives real-time game stats and system performance data, and also includes a backlight and 3.5 mm audio jacks.
