Guitar Hero and Band Hero July track packs from Queen, Shinedown and more announced


The Guitar Hero music library will be getting 12 new tracks this summer in several three-track packs from Queen, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, and Shinedown. The new releases will be compatible with Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and the upcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.

The first pack is from Queen and available today. The new three-song track pack, the Queen 2 Track Pack, features “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Killer Queen,” and “Somebody To Love.” Sevenfold is next up, with the Avenged Sevenfold Track Pack set for release next week on July 13. The pack will include “Afterlife,” “Almost Easy,” and “Scream.”

On July 20, the Disturbed Track Pack will hit the download circuit, featuring “Down With The Sickness,” “Stricken,” and “Indestructible.” And rounding out the set, and July, is the Shinedown Track Pack. The pack will feature “Devour,” “Second Chance,” and “Sound of Madness.”

The Queen 2, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, and Shinedown track packs will be available on Live Marketplace for 440 MS Points, the PS Store for $5.49, and on the Wii for 550 Wii Points. All songs will also be released as downloadable singles for the 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, PS3 for $1.99, and Wii for 200 Wii Points.
